Just bought my second GT

Happy to say that after a year and a half of looking I finally settled on a Stang.

04 GT, 74K one-owner miles (65 year old man- CT title lists DOB), 5-speed, stock as a rock. It's a pretty basic GT with the "starfish" 17's, cloth, no Mach sound, but that's fine with me. I'm not a big "bells and whistles" guy anyway.

Got a very fair deal on it from a small mom-and-pop outfit in Connecticut. Picking it up Saturday, pictures will follow sometime next week. (Sat weather expected to be crappy)

Brought it home last night because a) I couldn't wait and b) I wasn't about to take 84 back through CT in the snow. That road sucks enough on a sunny day, once you pass over the Taconic it gets really hilly and twisty.

I forgot almost entirely the joy of dropping the hammer in Third merging onto highways. This thing sounds great, exhaust is all stock and the 04's borrowed the Bullit cat-back. Only option it has is the Interior Upgrade package; this is a Deluxe model.

Can't stop driving it or looking for excuses to drive it; this thing was really well cared-for. No shakes, shimmys, rattles, just a nice, tight drive- as tight as an SN95 can be for stock.

First two orders of business will be new headlights and a Hurst (love that chrome handle).

Original owner was kind enough to leave the window sticker in with the owners manual- bonus!
