yeah, most deff jlt. still deciding to either use their cai or rai:

JLT RAI:
Pros: Pulls in more air, usually cheaper due to less piping.
Cons: Air pulled in is warm from the engine compartment.

JLT CAI:
Pros: Pulls in cold air for better combustion.
Cons: Pulls in less air, usually more expensive.

upper intake is ok, but you can do the whole intake (upper and lower) for best results, but obviously more money. Both would do just fine.

My vote is also for colder air, your engine can't injest enough air at this power level to make that much of a difference

I have also heard that the headers on a new edge 2v are not worth the money for power that you gain for the install....:idk:

Yup, remember.. mods are cumulative, not isolated power adders. Long tube may not do much by themselves, but when you're forcing more air into the engine/cams demand more air, you're gonna need an exhaust that can push a lot more air out

Very true, with all these mods which don't really add much to the 2v you'll be lucky to even gain 30rwhp considering you have that much money on it

That's a 100rwhp increase over what you currently have... no way

Stock is around 210-230 rwhp, remmeber you have and auto and they usually makes a bit less.

If you're looking for an increase of 100rwhp+ definitely supercharge that thing.

probably around the same cost to do each the right way, but s/c will be better for daily use. n/a set up will probably be a little too much

You know, when I had my 01 GT with basic bolt ons, I realized how much the 2v does not really respond to mods as I thought, I wasn't happy with the results, the only thing I enjoyed was the loud exhaust I had on it, made it fun, but it was all mouth and not enough performance to back it up. I didn't want to supercharge it because I knew I wasn't gonna keep it for long since I wanted a termi.

Bottom line: if you do plan to keep your car for a long time and want some serious power increase, supercharger is the way to go.
