Interior Question

Okay so this might be extremely stupid but I was wondering if there would be anyway to dye or paint the interior of a 2000 mustang. I want to change it from the orginal grey to white... is that possible? What would i use if I did? I mean I found like covers for certain pieces but its not enough for me... so yeah thats what I want to do... So if anyone knows how or has done it, please let me know

you can use like a lacquer paint or a vinyl dye paint. 50resto has paints in various colors. :thumbup: Hope this helps.

if the seats are leather there is a leather paint kit you can buy. Highly recommend it...just need to find the link.

Look on here for dye for the seats. I did mine on my 96 gt and the seats look almost new. Ponycrazy2004 told me about it last june and it worked great, I think it was like 70 bucks and I did 3 coats on both the drivers and passengers seats and 2 coats on the back seat and still had some left over.

I'm replacing all the leather interior cause the driver seat is torn to sh!t... but I was talking about all the plastic on the doors, dash, etc. Is that paintable? I was told to just get it out of another 99-04, BUT they didn't make those pieces white ever... and thats what i want, so yeah... HELP!

If you are looking for quality, I would take the interior apart and send it all to a body shop. They can prep and paint the pieces, and it will last a good amount of time. Or you can just go with some of the puff can plastic paint. I would recommend to sand/prep the surfaces very well. Any leftover armor-all or any kind of protectant will not let any paint stick.
