Anyone else have problems getting their car inspected with a CAI & Custom Tune?? I have the C&L Racer CAI, with a 93 octane tune from Brenspeed, and my car wouldn't pass inspection. I had to put the stock back on, then ride around so that the monitors would reset, in order for my car to pass. Anyone else have this problem before?? Oh, and now with the new PCM Nemer Ford put in my car, I don't think my Tuner will work, because the code obviously won't match up now. The car definitely feels slow now too, I miss my CAI lol. :thumbsdown:

Breenspeed tunes turn off the rear o2 sensors. My car failed this past year....so I returned it to stock and brought it back after about 100 or so miles. If you want you can contact Breenspeed and ask them for tune with the o2's on and they will send you one for free.

or you can just do what every one else does and pay extra for an inspection and save yourself the headache. I dont know how far you are from the bronx

Thanks for the info. Now will they still be able to write me a tune even though my car now has the new PCM???
