They just want the average person to feel comfortable enough to sign up, work out twice, put on a smaller shirt, and never show up again, while auto payments continue.
I did see this and had mixed feelings. But on the same token I had some guy at my fitness center tell me the older women who work out there are offended by the young bucks who come in and huff and puff and grunt. I said, "Oh yeah, really?" Apparently no one has issue with me coming in there and huffing, puffing and grunting? It's merely stereotypes and intimidation that most people cannot overcome, in my opinion. Blame media, blame celebrities, blame whomever. Weak minds breed weak bodies.
Not to mention what they do is make him look like he's an idiot which is sterotyping everyone who decides to become heavily involved in weight lifting are a bunch of oafs who have nothing but air in their heads
I'm not offended by this commercial at all. It's actually funny. The commercial got its point across.... We're talking about Planet Fitness, aren't we?!?!

I thought it was pretty funny to be honest, but then again I don't get offended by strangers saying or doing things. I can certainly see how it may be offensive though :nono:
