I think my clutch is slipping?

hey guys I'm looking for some incite on a problem I've been having. When I'm driving at a fairly slow speed under 2500 RPM in gears 3-5, if i punch the gas she revs up anywhere btwn 500 and 1000 RPM before I feel my her pick up speed. Can anyone help shed some light, should i be worried or is this fairly normal at low RPM.
