I'm coming into this way in the tail end, but add mine to the file for future consideration? I have a '68 coupe. Picture in my sig. It's a survivor with 11,854 miles on it. Was in California until 2002. Clean. At one show, a guy grabbed his wife and pulled her to the car, got down on his knees to wipe his hand across the underside and showed his hand to his wife saying this thing is spotless!
It's not a muscle car or anything special, but it is a good example of an original daily driver, 289-2V, PS, AC AT. Kinda the other side of the spectrum from the GT-Boss-Mach-Shelby. By the way, driven by the little old lady? The original owner was 65 year old when she got it new and had it the rest of her life until she passed about 2001.
I live in Hyde Park, The FDR presidential library and home as well as the Vanderbilt mansion is here to provide a nice background for the car. Or perhaps Marist College or the CIA.
Regards. Dudley
