why wouldnt you trust a shop that will do it for $100 ??? some of the best places to get this stuff done are "the little guy" shops ... see if there is an exhaust shop that will do it for you that isnt Monroe or Midas first ... some of the national chains wont touch it if it isnt stock
You can do it in your driveway with the right tools and patience or you can use Real Speed or Mustang Magic. Two of our forum vendors for it.
You will need a kit with either an X-Pipe or an H-pipe with two overaxle pipes and mufflers.
I personally would recommend getting the FRPP cut in X-pipe and buying a second over axle pipe for the 2010 V6 Mustang and than getting whatever mufflers you want. My recomendation would be the FRPP GT500S/GT500 KR mufflers but thats just me

All it really entails is just cutting the Y-pipe, clamping the X-Pipe to your exhaust running a new overaxle pipe, drilling holes for a muffler hanger attaching the muffler hanger and than putting on the mufflers and putting on a rear valience.
Honestly any one can do this in your driveway if you had some jackstands. Even if they haven't done a 2010 before they should easily be able to do this. I would take it to them if you don't feel like doing this yourself.

Would think the holes for any hangers would already be there. Unlike the old days where every model was specific, today they tend to have no set of underneath metal. So I would think the underneath of all Mustangs have the holes for duals.
I'm sure if you surf, you cna find a video of someone that has done this.
The hardest part would be cutting the pipe, but with careful planning that should be easy. And you will be much more likely to take the time and do it right, then a shop that has not done it before. And if you have to go through the work of telling them where to cut it, just lay under your car and di yourself.

Here are the 2005-2009 instructions HERE The 2010 will be similar, but you won't need to cut the bumper because you got the valence.
It does say you have to: Tap bosses using M8 X 1.25 tap and then install hanger with M8 bolts
So it might be a few more dollars than $100. Still $350 is way too much for installing a cat back true dual setup from FRPP.
There has to be a NYM friendly place down near where you live so that they can give you a good deal on installation. There has to be some downstate guys either on the island or around the city who can help you. Good luck!

350.00 labor quote @ realspeed would be about 3.5 hrs install , don't sound right to me bud ,
a magnaflow cb system installed on a 5.0 is about 190.00 labor , roughly 2 hrs. @ the going rate these days .
I can tell you this if it helps you to decide on the whats and where's , Anything you have done @ realspeed will be done right , clean , and with the utmost respect for your ride in a timely fashion , you will be happy .
