how to retrive a stolen stang?

if someone steals your car. specificly an 04 mustang, is there a gps device in it that allows the police or the bank a way to find it and get it back? or did that not start until 05?
no my car wasnt stolen but living in Amsterdam ya never know LOL.. but no im just curious because there had been talk of manufacturers doing that for several reasons, like repos and retrieving stolen cars etc..

You can get LoJack installed on your car I think its like $600 and its the only system that the police use to track your car if it goes missing. I know that the newer Mustangs have an added on thing that you can get with Ford, I forget what it is called but it tracks your vehicle and sends of a message to your cell phone in case of unauthorized entries.

cool, but nothing installed from the factory other than an optional package? hmm interesting.
