There are "plug & play" kits but there is more to it than just plugging in. HIDs require a ballast. You have to find a place to mount the ballast & then NEATLY run & hide the wires & plug them in.
It looks like a mess of wires & instructions are meant for professionals or at least they assume you know a lot already about automotive/elect shit.
A complete install takes about an hour or two.
