My names Jeff and I think I take the cake for youngest on the forums.lol I have my first car under construction, its a 1990 LX that I'm going to be driving around with the 2.3 for a while in summer while I find a nice 5.0 to build on a stand. and right now its doing what all Mustangs do, sucking time and money!

thanks man, yeah I got her for only $300 I want to do a full rebuild when I find a 5.0, do most of the bolt ons, h/c/i...nothing too major as I still want it to be relatively good on gas (for an 8cyl lol) but be a fun street car....at least out run my parents 95 gt

thanks, people are like "just buy a gt!" I tell them "when you find me a GT for the same price as buying a 5.0 and dropping it in my car, I'll listen" I also have a question, the square behind the rear wheel from the trim down is rusted right through, do you think I could make it look alright by cutting an patching or is it worth it to spend the extra coin and do the whole quarter skin?

Go with a turbo 2.3, so much easier to do with an original 4 banger car

you know, I was thinking about that but I really would rather have a 302, I'm a v8 guy not to say turboed 4s are bad, my brothers talon tsi is pushing 400hp

thanks, you know its still up in the air weather I want to go with a 302 or 351, but I was thinking that the 302 would be cheaper? I could be wrong...What do you guys think, 302 or 351? Oh and by the way, I don't actually live in Saratoga, I'm in Clifton Park...

thats what I was thinking because the aftermarket for 5.0s is way bigger then 351s. My borthers friend has a grand marquis, that's the same motor, right? What else can I look for in jy's for a 5.0? broncos, f150s, older big cars like a crown vic, right?
