im new on the site, i was with my friend eric who owned the 5.0 and the guy who owned the Camaro at the bear mt cruise. thought i would join because i love mustangs and used to have a 2006 v6.. yeah i know typical because im a girl i would drive automatic :] lol

Nothing wrong with an auto. Whats the point of a standard when you could get something that takes less effort haha..tried to drive my buddys cobra and that didnt go to well lol..ever make it down to central ave?

........... stock autos suck .... that my friend probably has more money in it than KBB on a fox itself.. HD stall converter..... probably reverse manual valve body... lol you put money in an auto it becomes fast but.... stock automatic trannys can be outshifted by a good 5spd.... and in my opinion 5spd is just more fun...

most stock manuals kinda suck to. But a hell of alot cheaper to modify then an auto.
manual guys usually get a short throw, auto guys get new valve bodies or shift kits. Its all linear and opinions if you ask me.

I wouldnt say that a stock auto would be "outshifted" by a stick car. But on average with a good driver, stock for stock a 5spd car will beat an auto car b/c it is putting more of the power to the ground.
