Ok, not really car related but I just got some new speakers for my boat and I need to know which amp to buy and whether to wire my DVC sub in series or parallel. Heres what I got:

4 Polk DB651 6.5" speakers (60watts rms, 180watts peak) 4 ohms
1 Polk Momo 2104 dual voice coil sub (300watts rms, 600watts peak)

If I wire the sub in series it will present an 8ohm load, if wired in parallel it will present a 2ohm load

I want to purchase 1 amp to power all of these. A 5 channel perhaps. Which amp would be best on a budget? Around $2-300

for what u want i dont know what to suggest to get the most for ur buck ..200-300 is to low for what ur tryin to do..for the best sound you need to keep them seperate meaning 2 amps one for voice and one for bass.

i run 4 amps, two for bass (each sub has its own amp)(w7) one for voice one for highs.

now if you want 2 go with one amp then the best thing to do is raise ur budget to about 500 and get a jl amp..like there 800w amp should do u good...
