Help! I don't understand vehicle timing... lol

Kyle- I don't think the MAF Transfer being off will affect your timing, unless the load scaling is off.
I would think the charge plates would have little to no effect on any of this.
The MAF Transfer is the single most important part of the tune. It is hard for a Mail order tuner, like Brenspeed, to get a MAF Transfer dialed in first try. If you paid for a tune from them, I would do some loging on the dyno and send them the info so they can make needed changes. That should make your A/F correct as well as the load scaling, so the timing would be correct.
The thing with timing is there are MANY factors that determine what timing the car will get or see. You can command X* in the tune, but there are factors that clip spark, such as down streem IAT temp.

Thanks for the info! One thing I noticed is that on the Dyno @ C&C my intake temps were getting up to 135 and the timing was at like 13 but out on the open road they were around 100-110 when the car was fully heated up and the timing seemed to be running well at 16-17 degrees, it feels like I have MUCH more then only the 353 HP on the road.
Brenspeed basically told me they were done helping - I bought the entire V3 kit from them and I installed it- They told me that it works for hundreds of other people and then he kind of rubbed it in my face that on a 2008 Bullit Mustang fully stock they made 425 HP after the same V3 kit and the same tune they used for my car.
Not sure if I should do the Pro Racer Software or just get the car tuned... lol By the way, Thank you very much to you and Nick... the gears are AWESOME!!!!
I am still doing a few heat cycles on them but it feels like I get into boost much quicker.

First off, sounds like Brenspeed is a bunch of ass clowns. You are not the first I have heard of, getting less than good service from them.
Sounds like we are on to something with the IAT's pulling timing. I know at C&C they don't have the biggest fan, and your car being non-intercooled is more prone to getting heat soaked faster. I'm not sure what your tune is set to pull timing at, most are in the 120-150* range. I'm also not sure what they did in their tune, but you are not going to get 75 RWHP with a few more degrees of timing. I know Nick mentioned that you are getting the intercooler, it is a worth while investment.
