Ok, you may ask you why a french guy will add a new thread!
Let me tell you the story: All began in 1999, when a friend of mine sold this 66 convertible
Yes, it was a real convertible (look at the windshield frame) with a welded hardtop…
In fact this car was a “rally” car and as the convertible frame was stronger than the coupe, it was the easiest way to have a stronger body.
But it was time to remove this top!
I fund an used top iron, add a new convertible top and started the body work.
I completely redone the engine, breaks (with 1968 monterey breaks), add a dual stainless steel exhaust, new carpet, 17’’ American racing wheels and a complete TCP front end.
And at the end, back to his original color: Blue Tahoe Turquoise…
It was just perfect (for me
), but......
....I needed to sold it in order to buy this:
And now, my wife and I miss our mustang. And we would like to buy a "new" one...
