ok, its hard to do this online but ill try. first I or we need to know everything that led up to this point, what did you do or happened right before the vibration started? this is very important so be specific please. next, sart the car and watch the balancer while reving the motor, does it shake or wobble? if it does its either a bad new balancer or the crank snout is bent. If it doesnt wobble then you look at the other end of things, was the clutch replaced as well? I myself balance the clutch and plate when I do a build for someone, yes I have seen some that were way out and im a bit picky so if it spins it gets balanced. as for in the motor, if it is really that bad you would have to mess up pretty bad on the build to get a bad vibration at just 3000, stock motors are off 5 or so grams on the balance so unless it wasnt balanced at all or you really hurt the crank the problem shouldnt be internal. If the problem was ign. or fuel or valvetrain related you would either feel it across the board or the motor would run bad at and above 3000 rpm so you need to tell us, does the motor pull smooth at and above 3000? besides the shaking does it feel like it doesnt want to go past that mark ? And the last thing for now is never assume anyone has or will change parts correctly or with new stuff, if you did not see it done yourself then it did not happen. terrible I know but I have plenty of people come in here with "new" motors and trannys only to find its not close to what it was suppose to be, believe me I have stories lol.
