I've been living in Greece for just over a year and have owned my 97 Gt for about 4 years; this sucks that it's time to put it away for the year already! In the spring I'd like to get the engine rebuilt; with it I have a set of 2000 GT heads that I want to get machined before the long tube headers are strapped on. Any recommendationson shops in the Rochester area to get all this done? I've had work done on it in the past from Joe at JM Automotive but he's not into it much anymore. Thanks for any input and keep your wheels on the road!:headbang:

I'm actually out that way every weekend. Lived in Greece for 21 years before I moved to Fairport last year. Not a terrible place but it has been declining the past couple years unfortunately.

As for shop recommendations I do know of a great place on Ridge Rd in Greece. It's called Brians Alignment and Service. He does much more than alignment I can assure you. I know for a fact he will rebuild engines. I'm just not sure if he machines engines. You may want to call him up and ask. The number is 585-225-0203.

He's done a lot of work for me in the past and he's a very honest guy. Even let me in the garage a couple times to show me exactly what he was doing on my car. Anything I can't do in my driveway I'll have him do even if that means driving all the way out there from Fairport.

Welcome jamie, are you looking for basic machine work or a high performance shop? I race with MOMS and know some real good shops in the area, get ahold of me in a PM and let me know what you want and what you are looking for, glad to help you out if i can.
