H-pipe

Do off road h-pipes really make a huge difference? I have Mac shorty headers and a flowmaster cat back. I currently have the stock h-pipe with cats. I am still building this car so I haven't driven it yet. I have sooooo much invested just to get it road worthy, I dunno if its wise to put anymore into the exhaust right now.

You won't notice a huge power gain, maybe 5-10hp, but the sound will be like night and day.

do it the stock h pipe has 4 cats thats alot of restriction i had mine and hated it its sounds like shit do a off road h pipe youll love it i gurantee it

A offroad pipe will DEFINITELY make the sound loads better and louder!! You'll pick up a few hps too.

It might get the cops attention, so I wouldn't drive like a bat outta hell near them, lol. I don't have a off road h pipe so I couldn't tell you how it is, I am swapping my flows for slps though in the spring.

Oh and lots of guys run off road x or h pipes.

I have mac longtubes and an offroad H-pipe with the flowmasters, and the sound is awesome!!! Get alot of compliments. It is loud, but haven't been pulled over for it.

They were really quiet. They did sound good on full boar, but I like mufflers a bit raspy. Some guys tell me its too quiet to be a stang. I could care less what anyone thinks about my car but I agree its too quiet. I looked up some videos on youtube and really like the slp sound.

I really thought about just putting the off road on but I wanna be a little different. There's always more time to change it up if I don't like the way it sounds with the slps. It does cost money to swap, but it's one of the cheaper things to change than lets say engine mods...

MAC or BBK. I'm not really sure on the prices though. Some of the other ones won't fit as well, so if they're cheaper, I would ask someone if they have them and how they went on.

i have bbk headers, o/r h pipe,and flomaster exhaust. it's perfect tor the year! just the right amount of rumble. but inside the car it's not so loud that you can't think! wouldn't change a thing except those stupid chrome turn downs hate those stupid things!

I have a buddy with just a magnaflow cat-back and it sounds alright when he gets on it. I have an o/r H-pipe with a magnaflow cat-back and it sounds much more throaty than buddy's magnaflow cat backed exhaust at any RPM... especially at 3k + ! You'd be fine cop-wise until you hit 3k...
