Hi,
The cheapest place around for front end stuff would be Laurel mountain Mustang,they sell kits. That said on two separate occasions I was paid by people to install the pieces (they supplied parts which were from Laurel) and there were failures in the lower control arms. So that said I wouldn't put their stuff on my car,however they are the cheapest.
I'm a big suspension /brake guy , I don't usually skimp in this area . My first recommendation if you have a specific list would be to price out components maybe at a local auto parts store, I'm a huge fan of Moog/trw and companies like that. I was actually able to special order good quality components through advance autoparts online, I then googled for coupon codes, got 30% off my order and got the stuff for about the same as the cheap stuff. other options would be to look at CJponyparts I would opt for the costlier stuff when you can as they carry a mix of american made($) and off shore repo(cheaper). If you run into any roadblocks let me know I deal with suspension stuff on these cars all of the time.I'm pricing out front end pieces for a front end for a (customer) 67 convertible, as I'm writing this.
FYI The pitman arm is considered a non wear part,I would recheck yours before you buy one,I've never seen a bad one.

ok thank you i took my car to a local shop due to my steering wheel having alot of play and they said it would be a good idea to replace the chassis and front suspension. Then he told me that the pit man arm had play to it and should be replaced for better handling. Does this sound normal or is there possible a different reason that my steering wheel has alot of play to it?

Your steering wheel can have play in it from a bunch of reasons. Being that they are a professional shop and the fact that you are paying them,They should be able to tell you exactly what specific parts you need. That said, The pitman arm is a one piece arm that attaches to the bottom of the steering box, the only real way for one to go bad would be getting bent from an accident or stripped splines neither of these are common. If the pitman arm has play maybe they are saying play at the pitman arm meaning a worn out or out of adjustment steering box? I'd ask for some clarification,once again I doubt you need to replace your pitman arm.
There were special handling pitman arms used back in the day on Shelbies to improve handling ,I have one on my race car. But they wouldn't fit on a 71-73 box.
