******gas keeps squirting back*******

HELP.....any ideas my car every time i go to the Gas station i go to fill my tank and the gas keeps backing out and spilling all over the place..:nono: it jus started doing this and it's really PISSING me the EFF'N OFF?

There is a recall ( sort of) on that. It is the crossover tube between the two tanks. I thought they fixed that on the new models, but I guess it's the same shit.

Call ford and tell them, they will schedule you in for the fix, Last I heard.

I will look into it also.

Hmmmm... I remember shortly after I got mine I had issues with pumping gas. No matter how many times I tried the pump would continously click off even if I was far from full. How long as this been going on?

I did a quick search and came up with this. Not sure if it pertains to you or not Lee, but maybe point you in the right direction.

ISSUE
Some 2005 Mustang vehicles may exhibit the fuel tank being difficult or slow to fill. The condition may be described as repeated rapid shutoffs of the filling station pump nozzle or multiple nozzle shut offs while attempting to fill the fuel tank. The condition may be due to the fuel tank vapor venting system inside the fuel tank.

ACTION
The dealership is to install a new fuel tank. The new fuel tank has a revised internal venting system to improve fuel filling remove the fuel tank assembly per section 310-01 of the workshop manual.
