Couldn't resist the 2011. This will be my first Mustang, but I have to wait 6-8 weeks. Just placed order for a GT Premium with 3.55 gears. I cannot wait, but at least i will have it for summer time!

Thanks all! The car will be black on black, manual tranny, Premium package, 3.55 gears, and security package. Once warranty (and most likely first clutch) are done, I will add a Hellion or HP turbo kit!

My clutch won't have a chance. This will also be my commuter car to northern Manhattan every day. The Cross Bronx toasted my last clutch in 23,000 miles (all mileage was virtually in Cross Bronx rush hour traffic). I have much more highway driving now, which is why I am hoping to make it 40k before I get a clutch that can better handle the future turbo.

My GT I bought new.....and is my daily driver..on the Van Wyck...Cross Bronx..everything...was your last car a Mustang?.....because I abuse the hell out of my 03 and the clutch still shifts beautifully....

Nope. Last manual car was a Hyundai Elantra GT, and I drove it like I stole it. I'm sure the Mustang clutch will be able to take more though, and I plan to test its limits! I put on over 20k miles per year, so I'll find out pretty quick how strong it is.

I had a 300zx Turbo that took a lot of abuse, and the clutch did pretty well. Too bad the rear end couldn't hold up. I've toned it down since then.
