Front brake help

The corrosion they are mentioning won't be seen. The corrosion is usually under the piston boot. If the piston is hard to compress, try to open the caliper bleeder screw and try to compress it again. If it is still hard to compress, the caliper is at fault. If after opening the bleeder it is easy to compress, chances are you have a brake hose that is at fault.

Stay with the PBR's they are great calipers for the money. I even put them on my fox! Autozone is the cheapest at $50 per caliper. They are remans meaning hole new re-done caliper.... Bolt it on and bleed and your back on the road.

wagner makes good replacement parts, but i put pbr's back on mine too, i like to replace certain things with oem parts

but do try jays04mach1's advice just so you don't go replacing anything you don't have to

I will try jays method now.... but... if I need the replacement do I need to change both fronts at once or could just one be done???

Yes just replace what dosent work one or both sides! Do you know how to properly bleed brakes?

Autozone online is not showing PBR....but I cant say I have bleed them before mnirishjr but I did get a Haynes manual so that should be able to help some...you have some more tips

Update... I went with a new pbr caliper on both sides of the front....I am also pride to say I did the swaps with next to no problems at all, one ofmy newcalipers was stripped were the brake hose hooks up but they exchanged that for me and I got it done... Even bleed my brakes after Thanks for any help and advice I got in this thread... NYM FTW!!!
