I love my 3.73s on my auto daily driver. you'll want a shim/bearing kit

are you auto or stick?

and are you going with a positive displacement blower, or centri, or turbo?

By the looks of it I would say hes going with the X-Charger Alex ... Personally I would say go with 3.73s since this would still be your DD with some drag racing on the side.

One these 05 up cars the gearing can be close to the same since the 5R55 has some nice low gearing in it. I would say even 3.55 would be fine with the Xcharger.

I would've said go with the procharger but that whine from the xcharger is very persuasive!

haha exactly plus me and a couple buddies can do the x charger install no problem but the procharger not so much and I'm actually looking at the new x charger xtreme which has an intercooler to make up for the little lost hp over the centri blowers

with the auto and X charger, 3.73 gears will be grea, with all the lowend torque. if you find an 8.8 with 3.55's already in it, those will do fine as well.

What brand gears are you considering?

umm I think ford racing not 100% sure because they come in a package with the 8.8 rear end and trac lok off of new take off
