As much as it pains me to do this, I'm putting up one of my most prized possessions for sale due to upcoming financial responsibilities.
Let me start off by saying that I've had this car for over 8 years. This is not some short-term project that’s been put together carelessly. It has been quite the effort over the years for me to get to this point with the car, and I’m proud of it. In the attached video, my brother’s funny comment pretty much sums up how I am with my car. My underlying approach with my GT was to modify tastefully, and most importantly reliably!
Now on to the specs...
2000 Ford Mustang GT
4.6l V8, 133k miles, Black with black leather interior, power everything.
Performance Modifications
Vortech V2 SQ-Trim supercharger (installed at 100k miles)
Anderson Power Pipe
42 lb fuel injectors
Lightning 90mm Mass Air Flow
Ford Motorsports 70mm Throttle body
C&L upper intake plenum
SVT Focus fuel pump
Modular Powerhouse “Mongoose” tuned by owner Tim Barth
SVT Cobra T-56 Six speed transmission (only 15k miles)
Billet steel flywheel
SVT Cobra clutch
Aluminum driveshaft
Pro 5.0 six speed short throw shifter
3.73 rear end gears
Auburn Pro posi differential
SVT Cobra front brakes (calipers, cross drilled & slotted rotors)
Full length subframe connectors
Steeda lowering springs
Strange 10 way adjustable rear shocks
GP Offroad X-Pipe
MAC 3” catback exhaust (4” chrome tips)
Cosmetic Modifications
2001 SVT cobra front bumper cover
Smoked headlights
2000 GT spring feature hood (special hood scoop)
Mach 1 wheels on front
Custom Mach 1 wheels on rear (17x 10.5” wide deep dish rims)
Indiglow gauges
A-pillar gauge pod with boost gauge and water temp gauge
Bullitt shifter bezel
Baseline dyno 351 HP/348 TQ to the wheels on a hot humid 90° day following a 2 hour drive. (have dyno sheet to prove). I never dyno'd it again on a cooler day, however when its cooler the car runs much stronger and should pull approx. 400 HP/TQ to the wheels (1/4 mile trap speeds should support this estimation).
I have run a best of 12.155@118 MPH before the T56, catback and suspension upgrades. (have time slip to prove). Car should run high 11’s in the quarter mile as it sits now on a set of drag radials.
$8,500 OBO
These pics are 3 years old, but the car pretty much looks the same, with exception to now having the spring feature hood and MAC catback with 4" tips. I’ll take some new pics this weekend.
Thanks,
Marc
