Watch what you say.... The Generals seats arent much better--ask how I know.
Seriously though, it depends on where the seat is broken. I have had the seat tracks crack which resulted in a "lean" and was easy to fix. I just changed the tracks.
But when the upper seat frame let go it wasnt worth fixing. The metal was too thin and it would just break again anyway. Plus pulling the seat apart was a real pain (seat cover,foam,hog rings,etc). Its a shame you didnt post this a few weeks ago as I just threw out a pair of grey GT seats.
I do have a welder if you want to try some weekend though.
