Good Morning Everyone,
I hate to admit it, but it's time for my car to find a new home. After almost 7 years of ownership, a sizable investment and a boatload of fun, I think it's time the car change hands to someone who will really enjoy it.
Ok, enough of the mushy stuff, here is a full modifications list:
First off, it's a stock windsor 302 bottom end with gt40 intake manifold.
The gt40 intake manifold is a rare factory option originally sold on Mustang Cobras; I bought it used off of a guy in the forums. Attached is a port matched 70 MM throttle body.
The supercharger is a vortec V2, set up for a maximum of 12 psi of boost. There is a 90 mm, fender mounted air cleaner with a completely tunable 90 mm MAF.
The fuel system has completely, 100% been gone over. It has a 255 lph walbro fuel pump, brand new sending unit, new soft lines under the hood and 60 lb./hr. Siemens injectors. You read correctly; Siemens. The fuel tank was also dropped, cleaned and resealed when the pump was changed. The fuel system is topped with a automotive industries adjustable fuel pressure regulator, with an optional tap for an electronic fuel pressure gauge.
The ignition system has also been completely gone through, from the battery to the spark plugs. The coil and distributor are by MSD and are regulated by an MSD 6AL digital ignition control. The spark plug wires are ford red 9 mm and plugs have been gapped custom for boost.
The car was dyno tuned by Sansone Ford out of New Jersey, an SVT certified dealership. The supercharger and most of the supporting components above were installed by them. The installation was done 2 years ago and the components have less than 1,500 miles on them. I have the dealership receipt which reflects this.
Additional components are Eibach anti roll bars (front and rear), deep transmission fluid pan (adds 3 quarts and is finned to dissipate heat), 13" cobra front brakes, 2003 cobra 17" forged aluminum chrome plated rims with Nitto nt555 tires (255/45 front and 275/45 rear).
The oldest modification is the exhaust; full MAC exhaust system: equal length, ceramic coated headers, "off road" midpipe and axle back system.
I've owned the car for 7 years this February, it has 76,xxx miles and all the work has been done by myself or Sansone Ford. The car is 100% complete, and every critical system works to high performance standards and has been maintained as such.
The BAD: fogs don't work (bad switch) and the CD player only plays CDs from the mid 90s. Blemishes are present in the paint, but for a 20 year old car, the paint is still ok.
To make this car PERFECT: it could use at least a 5 speed swap (or 6 speed) and a worked suspension (lowering sport springs, good set of shocks and struts, subframe connectors, etc.).
Here's the video from the tune at Sansone Ford:

My asking price is $3,000, non negotiable. Thanks for reading, pm me for questions. -Joe
