A C6 corvette blew out the rear with street tires yesterday, clean up had to have been almost an hour. Only got to run 4 times before they did a gambler's race. I want to go back again next month. Best run was a 13.74 @ 105.6 mph. 60ft was terrible, have street tires on, best I could manage was 2.3. If I was able to make more runs I think I might have been able to get it down a little.
The Corvette that blew the rearend with street tires came down from fort drum area and was the only car amongst about 10 others that was not trailered down but they where able to get it trailered home.great bunch of guys from what I heard.
That was fun but sure is frustrating waiting in line.
Yes I agree you definitely would be getting a better et with some slicks etc.or on a better prepped track with that Mile an Hour..
Good race by the way sorry I had to run and get my son off to a meet.
Had just enough time to help my friend with his fox body e85 car.
Hoping I can figure out how to launch my car a little better 12.34 @ 111 mph was my best run of the day.
Looking to go 11.99 N/A without too many changes.
These new mustangs are amazing at what they can do with little or no mods
My buddy stuck a go pro on my roof as I went up on the first pass and said the recording came out so good it seems like you are in the car, that will be interesting to see.
