when i first got it
eww
cleaned rust off crossover tube, new air filter(best 30$ mod ever) also turned the couplings inside out to make them red.( i was going to buy new ones but then DUH i could have just turned them inside out.
also cleaned alt, painted C.C. tube.
what it looked like finished after painting random parts.
then i relocated the battery
then the fuse box.
then i tucked some of the wires around by the air filter
after
after painting the bay walls today
i also tried to tuck away the wires on the pass. side by the firewall. didnt finish it yet but you cant see the huge connecters anymore, and also helps that the a/c canister thing is gone. this is what it looks like after today.
here is my debate.
leave it as it is now...
or do the COP conversion, relocate powersteering resevior. remove secondary air injection system, 100% for looks.
which would lead me to get a smaller coolant res. and relocate that.
then the engine would really stand out
BUT doing the conversion will cost $150 more for the plug and play harness, $50-150 (used or new) COPs, and 50$ gaskets.
what do you guys think?
EDIT********************* here a link to the conversion. not 100% done but you get the idea!
