Those wanting the look of a classic Shelby Mustang with the reliability, drivability and technology of today's newest Mustang now have the opportunity to own a 1969 Shelby GT500CS built on a 2010 Mustang GT platform. Retrobuilt, a restoration company who was given an official license from Shelby Automobiles Inc. will build these new Shelby GT500CS vehicles in limited quantities. The Shelby GT500CS being auctioned is the first one built by Retorbuilt which carries serial number #001. The vehicle is a new 2010 Mustang GT with a Retrobuilt full body conversion kit installed that still carries the original Ford factory warranty and all of the safety features that came with the car. This Shelby GT500CS Mustang comes with a dash plaque, certificate of authenticity as well as being listed in the official Shelby registry. As of writing this the reserve has not been met but the auction has 23 bids with a price of $75,100 so far. Check out the photos below and the Ebay auction here.
