park place sucked. park place was sold a couple of years ago to new owners. they changed the name to ocd & that shop still sucks lol. last i heard, that shop is closing down. this is not the right time to own a large shop with a high rent bill at the end of the month. if you dont do good work, your not going to last very long in this business. ive seen detail shops switch owners, go out of business, even had an old customer try to start up a detailing business in my first shop location & then fail lol.
i always think of owning a shop about twice the size of what i have, (2 cars inside & 3 cars outside) but when i hear about large shops that cant pay rent i second guess the dream of having a place that holds 4 cars inside. there is a reason why little shops like me are still around. i do work better than anyone else out there. there are only a few shops that can hang with the quality of work that i do here. ill never go out of business, i make my rent within the first 4-5 days of each month lol.
