theres ALWAYS traffic in manhattan. on memorial day weekend we went and there really wasn't traffic.

But thanx for all the imput fellas. maybe manhattan wasn't the best choice hahahaha. it's tough to find a good spot. I been asking co-workers that used to live in the city but they're no help.

ANd BTW, wildponies the navy pier could be good. I have no idea where thats at. I was seeing like a a pier over in chelsea. there's also a place right by the holland tunnel. not sure what it is though.

Manhattan is loaded with pot holes .traffic agents and traffic every where.you don't want to go there. i work in the city and its a pain in the butt to get around.i would pick some where else better.

i went into the citry memorial day weekend. traffic was better than it is out here when I leave work hahahaha. and we didn't encounter any potholes. Maybe it's just certain area's

Unfortunately if I can't find a good spot to park then it's a no go. :-\

Does anyone know if theres parking over by the Intrepid? It looks to be an above ground parking area. IDK if it's authorized personel only though. can anyone shed some light on that?

Ok did some asking around and was told that the parking lot at the Intreped is a good spot and has plenty of room for our stangs... might be a parking fee but if some one is familiar or has visited the Intreped let us know...I think its on 10th or 12th.

on the 17th the parking lot isn't open?

wait im confused:confused: i thought you meant that the parking lot was on the street called 10th or 12th and i thought he thought you said the 10th or 12th as in its only open on the 10th or 12th

Astoria park is really nice. I always see alot of bikes there, and cars sometimes.

I was told you can park at the intrepid and not be in a parking system type of a place. Dose anyone work in the city that can do a drive by and see if it has a parking lot.

Yea i thought you meant it's open on the 10th-12th wildponies. But hey if we can confirm that we can park there it vould make for a cool backdrop.

Grkstang I'll check that link when i get home from work today unless someone can confirm sooner.

Astoria park smells like $h:t according to the news lastnight!
Plus not much to do there, but nice backdrop. Anyway I'm so down for this I already took off from work.
