Crooked piece of trim driving me NUTS!!

The body ground effects thats on the fender is crooked,like I see its crooked on a lot of fox bodies.How in the world do I straighten it? Its the whole piece that runs under the door.

Yeah they're like that. Ford revised all the ground effect parts sometime after '93 to fit better,made them a little longer,
even thought it was after they had already stopped making the car..

You could tell by the color from behind, the yellow ones are the old ones that don't fit properly.
The newer ones are gray (not the paint, the plastic itself that they're made from).

Not sure about the new aftermarket ones you could get now, like from 50resto, but i'm sure they copied the newer ones.

It's the urethane itself and over time they warp. Gotta get new ones. Also, the mounting strip could have rusted off.

Well 50resto only has that piece for a LX,not GT.Any clue where to get it?

I checked both 50resto & cj pony & they do not have them for a 92 Gt.Mayby my body guy can get me them in spring

The side skirts? No one makes the GT side skirts, only the cobra ones...

^ that's it, It must've been the Cobra ones i saw and just assumed they made GT also. Should get a set of them
