Alright guys, I'm having an issue with my coolant, I put a 93 cobra Intake in my 89 GT last summer ran good no problems, I pulled my car out of storage, car ran good for awhile and then she started to puke coolant out of the reservoir tank. The lines are all done right on the cobra intake by the way, anyways I put a new thermostat and gasket on along with a radiator cap ran good for about a week and started doing it again, I did a pressure test on my radiator and it checked out. No coolant in my oil and my exhaust isn't blowing any smoke out. Water pump was replaced in 05. Anybody got any idea what could be causing this?? Thanks

Sounds like a head gasket bud. You might have combustion gasses finding their way into a coolant jacket. Go to NAPA and get yourself a test kit. Follow the instructions and within a few minutes you can easily diag the problem. Before you go that far, feel your upper and lower radiator hoses when the car is at normal temp. If they are both warm/hot, your thermostat is likely OK and you radiator isn't plugged. If you have one cold and one HOT, you either have a bad t-stat or a plugged radiator.
Well I ran my car the other day and it heated up like normal and then it started going up about 3/4 of the way up on the temp gage and I shut her down. I let her sit for a few hours and she didn't puke, I checked the levels of the radiator and the reservoir tank, radiator is where it should be and the reservoir tank was a little high maybe a couple inches under the hot line.(This was after she was completely cooled down) The fan clutch checked out. Also I didn't mention my mustang is supercharged with 30lb injectors and MAF. I don't think this will make too much of a difference. The water pump wasn't replaced in 05 it was 06. I'm going to do a compression test on her, just to make sure the head gasket isn't messed up.
UPDATE... Alright well I ran my car again today just to grab some gas and I came home and she overheated again (didn't see this coming) she threw up coolant again, no surprise but I put my hand on the radiator and it wasn't even warm. Engine was warm, the tube going from the waterpump and t-stat to the top of the radiator was kind of hot. The coolant was also not warm. Also all the coolant just went into the reservoir tank, radiator just kinda went empty, but after the car settled it went back into the radiator....I'm thinking maybe the radiator, waterpump, t-stat, or the fan clutch could be the issue....
Replace your thermostat. I've had a bunch of them that were no good right out of the box. AVOID Advance or Autozone. Also look into a Motorad Tstat. They have a failsafe built into them so if it fails, it stays wide open so your engine won't overheat. Put a fresh 50/50 mix of coolant back in. I prefer the pre mixed prestone so there is no mineral content in the water which will avoid harmful deposit buildup in the future.
