Yes you can just swap out the head unit. Vortech may even have an upgrade available for the s-trim, but I belive that the discharge portion of the housing is difference. My t-trim was an r-trim and Tim had it upgraded to the T.

Below is a pic of the engine compartment and the underside. I spent a ton of time cleaning and repainting the underside of the car. The pics make the engine compartment look better than it really is, but the engine is coming out this winter, so I will clean that up over the winter.

You can have the S-Trim upgraded to an Si-Trim like I did for around $350, and the Si-Trim is more efficient than the S and T...which means lower intake temps

V-1 Si-Trim 26psi / 1150cfm / 78% efficiency / max 775hp
V-1 T-Trim 26psi / 1200cfm / 72% efficiency / max 825hp
