Car is dead!!!! AGAIN!!!

2 damn days and the battery is dead!!!!

This will be my 3rd battery from ford, bringing it in this week. there is nothing drawing on the damn thing.


I know that the stock shaker is a cause, but mine is gone, also I checked my draw and there is nothing.

If this keeps happening, I am getting rid of the damn car and getting a gt500

did you try the whole turning the radio off altogether before turning the car off trick?

if the battery is dead,theres def something draining it put a volt meter nd check it out..

I did the turn off radio crappola shit, I tested and re-tested every friggen electrical draw on the car. Nothing, no leak down or scavanging going on. I guess it is justcrappy FORD batteries!!!

Alternator is charging perfect, just this thing isn't holding a charge. I am pretty sure that it is because it has been stone cold dead more than 5 or so times, that the recoup just isn't enough to keep it charged.


I am looking at gt500's now. Might have a nice vert for sale, once I figure out this battery deal.

I had the same problem with my GT, its either the alternator is NOT charging, or you have a short.

My GT would die every 4 days until I realized I had a short that was being caused by the jammed 6 disc changer :smash:

I am just gonna have the dealer look at it, this way they can tell me that it needs another battery that should last 6 months.

Monx, I know it is not the alternator, that is charging.

im still on the orginal battery, never turn the radio off, and theres a cell phone charger plugged in all the time. always starts
