Good afternoon:
Happy to be part of the club!! Here's my question.
I have a 1972 Mustang Convertible. We fully restored the car in 2009 as original. I never checked the engine as we had it restored as a driver car. As it turns out, the engine is a 1969 vintage. Engine casting number C9OE-6015 manufacture date 9C31 (March 31, 1969).
This appears to be a Torino series engine. Can someone in your club tell me if this is a 90 degree Windsor engine? If so, would that make the car worth a few thousand more, a few thousand less or neither?
Granted, it is not the cars original matching engine but is this a better engine than the 302?
Thanks for any input.
