I am doing all the work myself so I am not saving or spending anymore coin on labor.

I was looking for the best performance gains that will fit my cash flow situation. If I could do both I would with no hesitation, but I think it might be only one or the other.

I am now leaning towards L/T's and waiting on the cams. We will see how it goes, my job is having more lay offs tomorrow, they got rid of 20 last week and a total of 60 in the past month.

If you can't do them both, I would do L/T's. Wait until you have all of your bolt-ons done, then get a custom ground set of SC cams

Until then you still won't have a squeaky belt under your hood

I had to choose and did the easiest first, the harder one will be next now that my back is killing me.

Do the LT's, the cams should be installed with the Boost one working with the other, dont get one of the thumpy bumpy cams, get one for go....

Well the road has come to an end.

The job I was on got shut down, so I am once again Unemployed.

I did manage to pick up a set of Pypes l/t's, lower control arms, adj panhard bar, bumpsteer kit, camber plates, and relocation brackets all for under what it would cost for a set of Kooks headers

I already put in the suspension parts, tomorrow I am going after the header install.


Looks like I have to again wait for boost untill this damn economy picks up!!!!!

I did get my L/T at carlisle and everything is installed already.

I did the rear suspension yesterday in about 2hrs, and the Headers today in about 4. I still have to hook up the mid pipe but that is only a 5 minute job. The headers were not as bad as everyone seems to make them out to be, I can't see giving someone $500 to do them. I still have some scratch left over to get cams, but that will wait until I get blown and get a nice matched set. And if work picks up, I should have my new aluminator by christmas
