Cam change

Ok has anyone performed a cam change on a 1994 5.0 without removing the engine from the bay. I mean I've been working it out in my head and I just don't "see" the room to do this with the block still in the car. Maybe somebody has some more insight....

it can be done, but you need to pull everything that hangs on the radiator support. the radiator, fan, condenser, etc.

I've seen that done on a 4th gen camaro with the LS1, but do I have the room to pull the cam out or am I going to be pulling it out through the grill.

It will make it as long as everything is out of the way.

If you take out the fan/rad/etc you can do a cam swap very easily.
