i have a built 306. what kinda bolt ons do u all recommend. right now i have a bbk cai and cobra upper and lower intake. its got cams idk what kind yet fully built interals and evreything. stock injectors, mac unequal length headers. i dont know much about motor work and what i should do to gain power. im just learning on the way. so im ready for your recomendations

Ok I broke it down a bit. First off this isn't a Modualr motor. So you only have 1 cam. And won't really know what cam it is unless you take it out and look for some sort of part number. As far as you know it could be stock.
What Heads are on the car?
As far as making more power Most people just change the Heads, cam and, Intake. You already have the intake with the cobra. After market heads will pick you up some power. A bigger Throttle body will help also. A bigger Mass air with a set of 24 lb injectors will help also.
You have headers already, What is the rest of the Exhaust. Is it after market as well? Like Off-road H-pipe and Catback.

Regardless of all the "unknown" sounds like you have a base. Start with 24lb injectors MAF/ cold air and a tune. You can pick up some decent power with out changing internals of you have an exaust to help the car breathe wich you do. You should be able to find a set of inj and MAF for like $150.....
i have completely built motor internally from dss racing. level 20 cnc race prepped block, that is tapped for thread in freeze plugs, cylinderes have an elliptical high flow chamber to unshroud the valves where they enter to make more power and on the 302 blocks the pan raail/oil rapump surface where machined smooth
pro bullet ft/in 306 short block assembled in a level 10 cnc block with the billet aluminum main support system installed with custom arp main studs
level 10 cnc block deceked equalized and squared deck plate bored and honed in c/616 with sub 10 micron filtered man 845 honing oil and numerous other cnc operations. rods polished forged 5.090" full floating i beams with arp bolts, crank 3.00" stoke pistons forged pro x #4000(ft/in -3cc) rings moly? and berings? i cant read it oon the original invoice oi gotta request another one. idk what half the stuff means but thats what it says.
can i tell the type of heads on it without taking it apart?

Sounds like your ready for alot more then 24lbers.. You will need to set your goals for your build then people can chime in to help... Your heads should have casting #' on them some where. Not sure about where they would be tho. Old chevys have symbols on the fron of them to identify what they are. Not sure about ford..

all that stuff is "safety equipment" as far as im concerned. they dont make a single more horse-power....they may allow you to make more safely tho
