I had painted my roll bar satin black originally. It was very bland and looked like too much of an after thought. So I tried some bedliner coating that I had left over from the fenders.

while it came out good I wasn't so sure I liked it so I slept on it and decided I wasnt happy with it.

so back to ground zero

after 3 trips to the store and a couple hours later I found something that had the right luster and texture. It took forever to get it right but im pleased with the way it came out, it looks very OEM.

installed ready to be welded in.

yea either a 347 or a 351 based stroker with some AFR heads. depends on what I find when i'm ready

My dads best friend has a pretty nice 347 in his convertible, has Dart heads, large cam, Performer RPM, etc..etc. This was when it had the smaller headers on it. With the high stall and C4 it puts down mid 300's at the wheels

not bad, my goal is at least 400 to the wheels. plus my car if fuel injected so that makes it a bit easier.
