Are you refering to me? If you would have read my initial post I said he did an awesome job, & the car looked great.

Everybody get back on track or don't post.

Everybody is entitled to their own opinion and there is no need to bring this thread off track.

This is about the car and the amazing build of the car. We are all lucky to witness every step of the restoration and need to stay on track.

i was talking about anybody that talks negative about somebody's hard work and also what they want to build.
people that put their blood and sweat into their cars should be praised. alot of time and money go into projects, and when your finished with it the last thing you want to hear is somebodies negative comments.
that's all i'm saying

the car is gonna be parked for a while. I cant really afford a new clutch cable right now. I will try to get it fixed for the cruise on the 16th.

How's it going,I may have a partial solution? Did you convert the car to a 5 speed? Did it use to be a 4 speed(toploader or T10)? If so and you still have the pieces. I would be interested in trading for,or buying the stock shifter or pieces and possibly the trans (if it has the right numbers) For a car I'm working on right now. Let me know.


BTW. I noticed your current shifter doesn't say "GO BABY GO" on it ....LOL...... I'm kidding.

On a serious note I know a ton of classic Mustang and Shelby people so if you have a pile of leftover stock takeoff(the 67 steering wheel,the 68 G.T. Rims,etc.) parts that you would be looking to sell or trade.Let me know.Thanks.

the PO dropped in a T5, so i dont think he has any of the pieces

i have a set of original 68 GT rims with new tires, brand new fastback steel trunk lid, and a bunch of other stuff. If you get someone to buy them ill give you a cut.

Hey,
At your leisure,see about putting together an itemized list of what you have with asking prices and I'll see what I can do. I wouldn't worry about giving me a cut,Maybe you just cut me a deal on the lot.LOL.
