I was a Mustang enthusiast a while back with a 89 Fox body 5.0 absolutely loved the car but due to certain circumstances Sally and I had to part ways. Years have gone by almost a decade but now I'm back in a stang proud to announce I'm a new owner of a 2000 Mustang GT very strong and very clean. Feels good to be back and I’m not an avid owner alone I have two close buddies who are also mustang owners and we are all five years apart. I have the 2000, my buddy has a 2005 and last but not least my other buddy has a 2010 all GT’s

I will get some photo's up soon just wanted to make my first post in the introduction location. :rock:

Thanks fellas tomorrow for sure I will snap a few pic's and post them been busy changing all her fluids and making sure she is is tip top shape. I can't figure out to turn the traction control off so thats my next task on hand it's quite bother some seeing that wheel pop up all the time on the dash. Feels like she is being restraint or held back I like to let my pony run free.

Welcome aboard!

There is a traction control switch in 00GT's....right down in front of the shifter if its a 5speed

Yes it's a 5 speed and the switch doesn't turn it off. When I start the car it lights up with off in amber but when I press it to actually turn it off it doesnt shut it off.

Hmmm weird! Someone else may know what thats about....BUT.....If you do any mods you will want a hand held tuner/programmer.... I have a SCT X-Cal 3 and part of the tune turns the traction control off always! :evil:

Is that SCT of your for 99-04 4.6 2v? and is it for sale?

The car has CAI, Exhaust, 3.73 gears, 30lb injectors and thats about all I know.

They do make theme for 99-04 2vs! Im not selling mine but check out AmericanMuscle.com they have theme and we get a discount code for being NYM members!:headbang:

I have pretty similar mods and I would def suggest the tuner...Plus If you ever go for more it will really help out!
