Asking for suggestions

I have an 87 auto Mustang GT. It has a rebuilt engine with the only extras being Flowmaster cat-back exhaust, cold air intake, Eibach pro kit, KYB AGX adjustable shocks, and caster/camber plates. I was wondering what would be the next modification I could possibly make and was looking for some suggestions. I read alot on here about changing the gears and I also thought frame connectors would be a good idea. Any ideas would be great. Thanks.

Subframe connectors and gears would be a good start. Id go with 3.73's or 4.10's.

I went with 4.10's in my car back when it had an AOD and they really woke the car up, especially since I had 2.73's originally.

A 5 speed swap would be a great idea. I think getting rid of the POS AOD was the best thing I ever did to the car.

I actually have a 5 speed sitting around. I eventually want to do that. I would have to learn to drive stick lol. I really only been driving for two years so I only have drove automatic cars.

Do the gears and start saving for a blower

^^ I agree. Gears are the cats ass.... One of the best mods you can do. Also 5.0's with blowers KICK ASS!!! I wish thats what I did...

Ok but I thought it was important to build up the engine first before getting a blower.

Gears, explorer upper/lower intake, GT-40 heads, cam. With a H/C/I and gears that thing will feel 110% different.

Yup, the explorer upper/lower is more or less a cobra intake and the ports are a lot bigger then stock. Explorers came with GT-40p heads which are an improvement form the stock e7's but the cobra's came with GT-40's.

I don't think that would be a bad idea as speed density requires preset programs while mass air is controlled by the incoming air and is more user friendly if you want to do a street car that sees a little track time.

If you want to spend the extra coin, but I personally like the looks of the explorer intake and they are basically the same thing.
