APC cold intake filter

Does anyone have information on APC cold intake filters? I say one today at Advanced Auto for $27.00. It looked good and would fit my Bullitt. What do you think?

Welcome to the forum! I see that you are from Schenectady (so am I ). Do you plan on doing any modding to your car or do you just want a new air filter? There really is no benefit in replacing the stock air filter unless you add a aftermarket tune and CAI. What exactly are you looking for?

I have a 2008 Bullitt all stock. The local ford dealer wants close to $100 for a new filter so I'm exploring options.

Do you plan on upgrading to a CAI? Or do you just want a replacement filter? If you've got some cash a CAI/tune is well worth it!!!
How long have you lived in Schdy? I saw a green bullitt on 890 a few times this past summer...hopefully you have it parked right now and out of the salt.

The Bullitts come with a nice FRPP cold air intake from the factory!

Here is a link to the filter you have with the dimensions, I'd go with an AEM Dry Flow as I like them alot they filter really well. But K&N, S&B, etc are good as well.

The Bullitt comes with this intake and is calibrated for it from the factory, hence the higher HP rating vs a GT.

Thanks for the info / link. Yes I do prefer to stay with the original equipment, however, I was not pleased with the price the dealer quoted me.

Yep, that's what I got. I know at some point I will need to change the filter and was looking for options. However with the link to Ford Racing parts and a list price of $32 for the filter (about 1/3 what the dealer quoted me) I will stay with the original equipment.

That's kind of the plan, however, I wanted a backup in case I cleaned the original a little to vigorous.
