I got the new alternator in today had to change the pulley since brainy had a bigger one on there to compensate for I assume the missing tensioner and a/c compressor
I'm going to pick up the tensioner tomorrow and price the compressor and do it all right I hate half ass work also have to look into the oil pan
yeah but they go on the sniffer too depending on where you go..but they need cats and have to have all there emissions stuff working.....did you just get a stock replacement?
oo and you can get an alt bracket from summit racing for like 12 bucks and then you dont need a tensioner pulley...i did it on my 408 and it works great...you can kinda see it in the pick..the silver brackets that attach to the water pump...they allow you to pivot the alt and that tenses the belt
Im just waiting for the oil pan from late model resto they said I should have it by friday
also the battery cables from mustangs unlimited they said they would be here today but nada
