Seriously though, it looks like a pulley on the deck of a lawn mower.

I kind of looks like the face of the pulley they use on the idler pulley for a smog delete kit. Does it have grooves for a serpantine belt or a groove for a v-belt?

I have to figure out WTF is going on with the pulleys/accessories on this car

the belt on the car runs the power steering pump, and the alternator from what I see the pump on the bottom the belt isnt on

also have to figure out the pump on the bottom is it the "pollution pump" or the "smog pump"

the idiots in autozone had no clue and the one they had in the computer didnt have a pulley on it (in the picture)

Damn I hate finding rigged up shit and dealing with idiots

flavadave is right its a pro 5.0 smog pump delete pulley. ive also seen them rigged up to be a/c deletes too. and ive never herd it called a pollution pump...always a smog pump...if your facing the front bumper of the car the smog pump is usually down and to the left. most people just bypass it with a shorter belt. what other problems are you having?

no tensioner pulley on the car, no a/c compressor on the car, one cut condenser line and one uncut, a dead alternator, a rigged stereo with half a cut harness, no radio, but installed crossovers and speakers I think thats about it

I did get a new condenser and alternator to start though

I learn my lesson getting the car from a kid I guess the third rear brake light doesnt work either ( I changed the bulbs)

sounds like a nightmare...my first was like that...you should just do a 3g alt swap while its out and make sure you vacuum/blow out the condensor and other a/c components real good before you connect them. the dirt can cause a lot of damage

oo and you can get an alt bracket from summit racing for like 12 bucks and then you dont need a tensioner pulley...i did it on my 408 and it works great...you can kinda see it in the pick..the silver brackets that attach to the water pump...they allow you to pivot the alt and that tenses the belt

that silver bracket connected to that rusty c bracket is the base of the mysterious pulley u have in your trunk..thats where your new a/c condensor will go and the bracket attached to the alt was your tensioner pulley...that guy really did a number on that belt drive haha..looks like youll need a longer belt to put the a.c in too

Im going to pick up another tensioner pulley, power steering pump,smog pump and compressor

the smog pump from autozone doesnt come with the pulley though
