Anyone ever removed there emblems

So as some of you have seen my girl friend just got herself a 03 sixxer....



Well she has been doing some simple exterior mods to it, then she had realized it has one of its tri bar pony emblems broken in half...

Well she got herself a new pair but this is where the question comes in...


Are the stock tri bar emblems just stuck on like the new ones we got will be or do they have holes into the body from the emblem????

I was gonna swap them for her but just figured Id ask before I was trying to heat up the glue to unstick the emblems that may not even have glue lol

Any input on the situation would be helpful

All my emblems were glued on. The only one that had posts (2) drilled into the car, was the Ford blue oval on the trunk lid.

Some slight heat and a little fishing line and you should be golden.

Fender emblems have holes post also. The fenders have two holes drilled in them. That's the only thing keeping mine on right now. I can't decide on what I want to replace them with yet.

Here's how I removed mine for the blackout panel I added....Get a bucket of soapy water and use a bondo spreader...slowly work your way behind it sliding bond spreader a little at a time as you have someone squirt with a spray bottle the soapy water,It will come off real nice and won't scratch your paint..
