i did that with mine.. and it made the traction light on the dash stay on :idk: you want to beable to have it so you can turn it on tho. just incase you get caught in rain or something.

that dont always work..i know been there done that.. just hit the button.. when you turn the car on just hit the button.. if you have to tape a note to the shifter lol thats what i did for a long time before i got into the habbit. btw sounds fucking nasty.. and you and tony both left marks when ya left.. lol i know cuse i brought up the rear lol
