adding a blower... or 331?

So i came across a complete vortech v-2 blower kit for a 94-95 5.0 for a pretty good price... (well under 2 grand) it has a pro flow 75mm MAF for 19# injectors ,a paxton boost retard and all the pipes to bolt it on... I would need a bigger fuel pump and injectors obviously.... my question is can my stock bottom end handle this? I dont need to run a ton of boost just want some added pep. I recently bought a trick flow street upper and lower and I want a decent set of heads to bolt onto it also....

I am thinking about either adding a blower or..... building a N/a 331 with some zip... can anyone shoot me some rough ideas of HP of each? how about cost? I will obviously need a tune which ever way I go as well... PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!:rock:

With that blower and pushing 6-8 psi, your bottom end will do just fine. THe hp numbers will vary slightly, but should be in the ballpark of 330-350, give or take.

I could be wrong, but I think the stock block can hold 4 and change before having a window view.

I made 500+ rwhp on my stock block with stock internals before shit got twisted (block was still solid but the pistons, rods, etc were not). 302s can take major abuse and it can be done, but not too much more the 500 and not for too long.

beautiful! so does anyone know a a good place to get my car tuned when its all put together next spring? I live in the buffalo area...

A pair of tfs tw heads are pretty good, and will go well with your intake. Not sure if you are planning on getting the heads and/or the s/c.. Good luck finding somewhere to get it tuned, only places I can think of is Sansone in NJ, and Mustang Magic down near nyc, (at least I think MM is down there?)
