Correction: Its a 2000 Mustang GT convertible
Bought my first Mustang the summer of 2012, and luv it. The car needed some TLC and had about 145K miles on it. I come from the old school of racing and look forward to building up this car for street and strip. Still plan on driving it to work and taking the kids for ice creams So far I have done:
Subframe Connectors (its a bolt on, would like to get it welded)
Upper Control Arms (J&M)
Lower Control Arms (J&M)
Bama Tuner
Gears 4:10 w/ 31 spline axles and Ford Racing Differential
Cat-back exhaust (Summit)
CAI (Spectre)
Wheel/Tires combination
SLP Line Lock
Rear adjustable Shocks (Strange)
Aluminum Drive Shaft with Safety Loop
Front and rear bumper painted
The car ran 15:5 when I got it, but now I have it down to 14:3. Really hoping to get into the 13's this year. I think last year the club went to the Glen for some laps. So Im hoping to join you guys, never did a road course before. In Apr Im putting in a Performance Automatic Street/Strip Valve Body. I also plan on redoing the sub woofer when I get time. Just dont like the way it looks.
Unfortunately I have to many hobbies and not enough money. Looking forward to meeting many of you and learning about these cars. Its even better since I grew up in a house of Chevy's...lol
